The China International Foodstuff (Guangzhou) Exposition (in short "Interfood China") is an export facility platform developed by Fair Huatse, in co-operation with the China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Foodstuff, Native Produce & Animal by-products, to link International food and wine foreign trade institutions, producers and exporters with targeted local business networks.

Interfood China opened up in 2004, It mostly constitutes a prestigious showcase for imported food, alcoholic drinks, beverage trade, relative products and services from abroad, responding to the need of professionals in this sector for a trade-fair with strong international appeal and a strict Business to Business formula.

In the context of China's rapidly growing demand for imported food & wine consumption, Interfood China is the first large international trade show in South China dedicated entirely to imported food, wine &spirits, beverage and fruit industry.

• China's economy has dramatically developed a lot in recent years and the birth of a thriving middle class have fueled the demand of quality and gourmet products. Imports of food products are growing at a rate of 15% year and, despite the economic crisis that is affecting demand in Western markets, all projections suggest that China will keep its import figures.

China is a major foodstuff producer as well as a major grain consumer with the largest population of 1.4 billion. China is also one of the countries that enjoy the highest world economic growth rate.

Step1. Please send an Application form to Fair Huatse. The exhibitor will be served as First-pay-first-served basis. The priority will be given to those who order the big space and our official sponsors.

Step2.Fair Huatse requires a non-refundable 50% deposit for all events where the value of the package is over Euro2,000. The payment term for the deposit amount is 5 days from invoice date. Payment of the deposit reserves your place on this show, but your place is not fully secured until the entire fee is paid. Non-payment of the deposit by the applied deadline will result in the forfeit of your reserved place.For packages of Euro2,000 or less, full payment is required with payment terms as per the invoice provided.

Step3.If your application is successful we will send you a Participation Kit to give you all the information you need to prepare.

 Important Information
1) .All documents must be consistent with exhibits; Photocopies of all documents must be submitted 
according to the above deadlines and original documents should be arrived at Agility Fairs & Events
Guangzhou Office no
 later than 12th April 2011(for Exhibit A); 5thApril 2011(for exhibit B/C; 10th Feb. 2011(for exhibit D).
 2) .All foods’ Importation and Quantity of Importation are subject to Customs and Quarantine’s final 
 3). Food products’ label must clearly indicate Production Date and Expiration Date, alcoholic 
beverages’ label  must state Production Year.
 4) .All alcoholic beverages imported have to pay for China import duties & taxes.; Overseas Alcoholic 
beverages above 30 degree via HK must apply for HK import permit and pay for extra import taxes in
Hong Kong.
 5). According to China’s State General Administration of Quality Supervision’s guideline, imports of all 
cattle products are prohibited from the mad cow disease affected areas and countries. (For the list of 
countries and regions, please refer to the latest released information on the Administration of Quality
 Supervision  website:
 6) .Fresh meat, fruits, vegetables and grains must apply for import permits and quarantine permits. 
Agility Fairs & Events has no right to apply on behalf.
 7) .Chinese Customs and Quarantines will take 2-4 sample from each kind of foodstuff and wine for 
 8) .Limited quantity of wine should under 24 bottles per kind according to Chinese Customs.
 9) Taxes/duties should be paid for wine/ alcohol even for exhibition, and all wine/alcohol could be 
tasted or  consumed after all taxes/duties are paid.

2. Business Matchmaking
This is a single package solution for foreign companies to establish a business relationship with a chinese importer. Producers/Exporters can appoint Fair Huatse as trade representative
in China, then we will contact and negotiate with potential importers on their behalf until they establish a business relationship.

3. Consultancies
Fair Huatse offers a tailor-made report on business,promotion feasibility study and planning for
foreign businessmen. Report will include a market positioning analysis, business promotion feasibility
study and suggestions.
